MyTradeBuddy (“MyTradeBuddy”, “we”, “us”) provides a web-based trading journal, analytics and AI assistance tools (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is a record-keeping and analytics tool. Nothing in it — including AI-generated insights, grades, projections, coaching or reports — is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument, or a prediction of results. Trading carries substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your own decisions. Tax figures and classifications are estimates only; confirm everything with a qualified professional or your local tax authority.
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction. One person or entity per account unless otherwise agreed.
You retain ownership of the data you enter (trades, screenshots, notes). You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the Service to you, including sending screenshots and trade data to our AI provider to generate the features you request. You are responsible for having the right to upload anything you upload.
AI features are powered by third-party large-language-model providers. Output can be inaccurate or incomplete and must not be relied on as advice. We may apply fair-use limits on AI usage; these may change.
Paid plans and any free trial are described at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods. Payment is handled by our payment processor; we do not store your full card details.
Do not misuse the Service: no unlawful use, no attempts to breach security or access other users’ data, no reselling or scraping, no overloading or interfering with the Service.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyTradeBuddy is not liable for any trading losses or for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence applies.
